Come and hear John Cassells share a series of inspiring stories from his work with young human trafficking victims. John is a human trafficking specialist with SIM Canada. Since beginning his career as a Christian youth minister in 1984, John has designed and directed a wide variety of outreach programs and helped countless young people break free of drug addictions, homelessness and the sex industry. John currently oversees Parents Hope, a support network for family members of sex trafficking victims and the advocacy program, Men Ending Trafficking.
On the night of the event, John’s stories will be accompanied by musical selections from a band of local artists led by David Dowdell, and you will learn about how you can get involved in the fight against human trafficking in Toronto. Please be advised that these stories include mature content. Parental guidance is advised. All proceeds go to Men Ending Trafficking http://johncassells.com/met/
